Analytical cookies, as recently observed by the Privacy Authority, can be used to evaluate the effectiveness of a service provided, for the design of a platform or to help measure its traffic.

Similarly, analytical cookies, if installed by third parties, do not require the collection of prior user consent where direct identification of the data subject is not possible (so-called single out), in order to avoid the use of direct and unique identifiers.
